Only reason for one star is they won't let me post zero... We won't be going back here again. We have been customers for a long time, food for the most part was always OK. Nothing great but a nice local spot. We went there tonight for my birthday, got seated quickly. Ordered our food, then an hour and half later when we asked why it was taking so long the waitress got the owner / manager, the owner / manager came to our table and basically yelled at us because our food was taking so long, she was incredible rude, and unprofessional. And when it did finally arrive mine was cold, i didn't bother complaining. At that point our night was ruined, also they didn't bring the side dishes out until we had to ask for them. So as for me and my family we will take our business elsewhere. So save yourself the time, try another restaurant. This one is not worth it...
Great food. Some of the best eggplant parm in the area. Great service. Love this place!
Excellent food run by great people
Good food. Loved their cheesesteak!
Best italian restraunt in the area!!! Service and food was extrodinary!!!
This is one of the best restaurants in our area! All the food is amazing- especially the homemade pastas and the salad with the house dressing. Pizza is good too! Servers and bartenders are always super friendly. This is not fast food, so don’t expect to be in and out. Everything is made to order and it’s worth the wait.
Decent food with great service. Our waitress was refreshingly kind.
Very good Pizza.
Service was good food was meh... tasted like reheated chicken. When they were told about it they gave the customer a hard time!! Never again!! Not worth the aggravation!!
Love the food (tripe) is great good service friendly atmosphere
One of our favorite places to eat. Great food, friendly people, and a great atmosphere. We can't wait to go back!
The actual dine in fare is horrendous. I had the fishiest and gooiest calamari of my life here along with Stouffer's quality lasagna. The clientele of this establishment thinks a big portion equates to a good meal. Unfortunately, it does not. The pizza is however fantastic and my favorite in the area. The problem is that obtaining said pizza is difficult. I have learned to arrive 5-10 past the time that is given to me over the phone and yet I have never received my pizza upon arrival. I generally stand around the bar for another 5-15 minutes. The bartender is either non-existent or disappears never to return. Thus, my food generally arrives cold. All in all, it's a disappointment to anyone besides the geriatric crowd.EDIT: 3/4/20, I am updating from 2 to 4 stars. The wait time for pick up has significantly decreased and the pizza quality has been absolutely phenomenal. I would still never eat in there.
Very disappointed since re-opening. Prices increased....just under 30.00 for a tray of plain pizza, not made as requested and a meatball hoagie that had maybe 3 meatballs half the size of what they used to be. I patronized all through the shut down and never expected such a change. Pizza was very undercooked even though I always order extra crispy. If this is the new norm, not sure I will be back especially with the price increases.
We love this place. Food was wonderful. Best yet they use paper to go boxes and paper straws. We will definitely be back!!
Greatest restaurant in PA! Wonderful family owned business. You'll NEVER be disappointed.
The food was not bad, the service was spectacular. Prices are about average.
Always a great place to take your family or date. Get the white pizza and bring your appetite! The panini's are excellent as well. 👌
Meat Ravioli was not that good everything else was fantastic
Great food, good service. Would recommend it any one. Good pizza love the eggplant parm
Fabulous! Food and service is over the top!
Good food and great service.
Food was excellant and served piping hot also service was great.....
Always a very good stop and the staff is awesome 👍
Friendly service, GREAT FOOD! Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed each of our meals.
Great place to eat and have a nice family dinner. Fantastic pasta and lots of alcoholic beverages selection! The coal fired pizza in Dickson city is the best colarussos, however.
Have been going here for years and usually enjoyed our visits. Went there last night for a birthday with a table of eight. After waiting 80 minutes for our meals we asked the waitress if it would be much longer. Out comes the owner to rudely chastise us that they were very busy! All it would have taken was a polite response that they were busy and doing what they can. Oh well, won't be going back.
Colarusso’s is always very good but my last three visits have been out of this world. Everything was perfect. From the appetizers to the Salads to the pizza to the dinners. The waitresses and management have taken it to the next level. It’s nice to feel appreciated when you are out dining. Keep up the great work.
What a treat! Besides wonderful food I got to learn some history about the area and how immigrants from Gubio Italy settled in the area and brought their recipes and traditions with them. The pizza is old forge style. The soup was rich, homemade and worth driving through a snowstorm to get. The meatballs and gnocchi are both homemade and delicious. They don't have any sausage in the meatballs. The sauce. What can I say other than it was delicious and exactly how a red sauce should taste IMHO. And that bread! Can't forget that crusty chewy delicious bread. Lovely and priced right.
Always love there pizza and wings
Good food most days. Great atmosphere.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
We went there for a family dinner and thought it would be a great experience but it wasn't food was cold and the wait time was ridiculous you couldn't hear each other talk and the prices for the amount of food you get was crazy on a good note the waitress was super nice and I liked the bread and I cant afford to come back
Been here before for dinner and their pizzas are normally awesome. This time I ordered the meatball panini, good taste but came out lukewarm at best. Additionally my friend brought her granddaughter, and tried to order a single slice of pizza, and they said they couldn't do that, and she would have to order the lunch special which is 3 slices (which also came out barely warm) and a salad. Never realized they didn't have a kids menu...
Excellent food and fantastic and very courteous service. Will continue to dine there
Food is delicious and service is good.
Love this place. Great food and they deliver to most businesses !!
Me and my brother ordered tonight from the jessup colorussos and it was fantastic ! I had meatball parm sub and the mozzarella thingy for 8 bucks that is absolutely delicious! The only problem i had was roll on my sub was burnt on ends besides that it was great !!!! Thanku we truly enjoyed our dinner !!!!!
Just got home from there. The shrimp scampl was warm and undercooked. The beef ravioli was very bitter, hard edges. I ordered the alfredo with shrimp would have paid more for medium shrimp instead of salad shrimp. For an Italian restaurant there was no taste of garlic at all. Not happy at all with the food. Think I will stick with the pizza seems to be the only food with flavor. On a better note the waitress and manager were nice and friendly.
